The professional way to manage your staking deals.
One shared ledger for cash-game and tournament staking. Players log every session; backers verify it; makeup and profit splits calculate themselves. Two people, one set of numbers no one can quietly change.
Built by a poker pro out of Las Vegas.
60 seconds: log a session, verify it, settle up.
The deal lives in a shared sheet until the numbers drift, the versions disagree, and someone's out money.
One formula off and suddenly there's a $500 disagreement over who owes what. By the time anyone notices, the math is too tangled to unwind.
Player keeps their version, backer keeps theirs. Two spreadsheets, two sets of numbers, and no way to know which one is right.
Splitting profit across multiple backers on different deal terms turns into a brittle web of formulas — one wrong cell and it all breaks.
Follow one stake from the first deal to the final settle-up — both sides seeing the same numbers the whole way.
Set up the deal and get every result on the record.
Backed with makeup or a straight piece with markup — and every backer on the same stake can be on their own terms.
Sell 60% to one backer, 20% to another, keep 20% yourself. Allocation is enforced to 100% before a single session is logged.
Cash games, tournaments, or a full WSOP package with per-event buy-ins and markup. Every session ties back to its event.
Two people, one set of numbers nobody can quietly change.
Either party logs a session, the other verifies it. Every result is signed off by the people it affects — with a full audit trail on any edit.
Losses build into makeup, wins clear it before any profit splits — automatically, across every session. No formulas, no arguments.
Close the books clean — and keep the numbers yours.
When it's time to settle, the exact sends are calculated for everyone and confirmed by both sides. Turn on encryption and the amounts never leave your browser unscrambled.
From handshake to your first logged session in under five minutes.
Set up your deal — choose the split, define the terms, allocate your action.
Share a link. They sign up, accept, and you're connected instantly.
Log sessions, watch makeup clear, and settle up when you're done. Both sides see everything in real time.
Back one player or fifty. Every stake you fund rolls up into one dashboard — combined P/L, makeup exposure, and exactly which positions need your attention, all verified by the players themselves.
You only pay to back more than one player at a time. Playing is always free — log every session, build your verified track record, settle up. No card required.

Staking is when someone (the backer) funds a player's buy-ins in exchange for a share of the winnings. MyBacked is the tool that keeps both sides honest — tracking sessions, splits, and settlements so the deal is always clear.
Yes. If you're the player being staked, MyBacked is free forever — unlimited stakes as a player, unlimited sessions, full makeup math, verification, settlements, and your verified track record. You can also back one player for free. The paid tiers only come in when you want to fund several players at once.
Only the distinct players you fund as a backer. Free lets you back 1, Operator up to 5, Stable unlimited. Stakes where you're the player never count — those are always free and unlimited, no matter how many backers you bring on.
Makeup is the player's running debt to their backer. If a backer loses money backing you, those losses accumulate as makeup. Future winnings clear the makeup first before any profit gets split. Think of it as a running tab that resets when the stake goes profitable.
Backed — Losses build up as makeup. When you win, you clear the makeup first, then split the remaining profit. Standard for most long-term staking relationships.
Piece — No makeup. The backer takes their percentage of every session's result directly — wins and losses. Common for tournament packages where the deal is clean and finite.
Yes. All data is stored in a secure database with row-level access controls — you only see what you're supposed to see. For stakes where privacy matters most, you can enable end-to-end encryption: financial amounts are encrypted in your browser before reaching our servers, and we don't store the key. We can't decrypt the data without it. (See our Security page for the full design including the email-delivery tradeoff.)
No. MyBacked is a record-keeping and verification tool, not a payment processor or wallet. It tracks what's owed and by whom — how money actually changes hands is between you and your backer, the same as always.
Staking is a private investment relationship between two people — it's not gambling. MyBacked is record-keeping software, similar to a shared ledger or accounting tool. We don't facilitate gambling; we help people track an existing financial arrangement they've already agreed to.
Not if you don't want them to. Turning on Hide Backer Detailskeeps each backer's terms, markup, and balance private. They see their own slice only — nothing else.
Settle Up is a checkpoint — you distribute profit, reset the makeup balance, and keep the stake running. Use it at the end of a series or whenever both sides want to clear the books mid-deal.
Close Stake does the same thing but permanently closes the stake. Use it when the arrangement is fully finished.
When a session is logged, your backer gets notified and can verify or reject it. Verified sessions are locked — both parties have confirmed the result. If something looks wrong, it can be flagged before it affects the math. It's a built-in paper trail that protects everyone.
Any participant can flag a session for review. If someone edits a session after it's been verified, the other party gets notified and can approve or reject the change. MyBacked keeps a full audit trail of every edit, so there's never any ambiguity about what was agreed to.
Yes, and it's built specifically for this. You can set up a package stake with individual events, assign buy-in amounts, set re-entry caps per backer, and apply different markup or profit splits per event. Each session gets tied to its event, so the math stays clean across a multi-tournament series.
The iOS app is live on the App Store. MyBacked also runs in any browser and installs to your home screen like an app — no app store required. Android is on the way.
If you enabled encryption on a stake, the key lives on your device and is never stored on our servers. If it's lost and you don't have a backup, the encrypted data is unrecoverable — that's the trade-off for true privacy. We'll prompt you to save a backup when you create an encrypted stake. Don't skip that step.
